Staff position at a top law firm after recent discharge?

    hello-

I currently work at a law firm but see an opening for a better staff position at another higher ranked law firm. Is it ridiculous to think a law firm would hire me after a recent Chapter 7 discharge. (I filed while already working for current firm). Is it worth applying???

    Thanks for any thoughts/input.

Annie is right. If you DON'T try for it, the answer is 100% No. But if you try for it, you have a 50/50 chance!

      Good luck!

Like the other said, it NEVER EVER hurts to apply - if you don't, as Angelina said, the answer is definitely no!!!

By staff position, do you mean "contract attorney"? In large firms, staff attorney and contract attorney sometimes mean temporary and/or non-partnership track positions. They are often paid less than regular associates.
